'The Goons' is a darkly comic crime caper about idiots with a gun, a corpse, and absolutely no idea what they’re doing.

Behind the Scenes
Back in 2016, I wrote a short film called 'The Bang' whilst on a long train journey. Much of my work is always considered quite serious, and friends would often comment that I would be good at comedy. With this in mind, I wanted to put it to the test; however, I never ended up shooting it.
In early 2025, whilst sorting through my old files, I came across it once again. I rewrote it, contacted a few friends, and shot it a few months later. It was a thoroughly enjoyable shoot and a great experiment.
